Positani

This new creation of the house, is an olfactory ode that seeks to represent the relaxed glamor that is experienced in Positano/Amalfi Coast during spring/summer. where the sea breeze invites the “Dolce Far Niente” and coincides with the season of its famous lemons.

Positanissimo is fresh, clean, with a classic aesthetic and rebellious spirit, reminiscent of the traditional elegance of Mediterranean citrus fragrances, but on this occasion, an accent of sea and mountains determine its full of vitality and dynamic character

                 Al-Andalus

Ricardo Ramos is making use of the classic olfactory notes inherited from the time of Al-Andalus in this line,  with the intention of transporting us to the historical moment where the origins of the art of perfumery started in Europe.

The fragrances are inspired by ancient formulations found in medical treatises from that era, as well dedicated and inspired  in architectural structures, traditions and iconic historical characters.

Transsexualia

Series

IMG_0117.jpg

Ricardo Ramos' Transsexualia series is dedicated to inspiring and transgressive transexual characters and became a trilogy in 2021 with two creations accompanying Cristina La Veneno. They are dedicated to and inspired by, on the one hand, Candy Darling, the iconic actress, model, and muse of Andy Warhol, and on the other, Elagabal/Heliogabalus, the young Roman emperor who is known from ancient Roman historical records to have been gender fluid.

The Book

Of

Hours

This is an olfactory journey through medieval monastic activities, in an aim to capture their intriguing mysticism, from the intimate erudite atmosphere of the scriptoriums, spinning around the olfactory references of cobblestone courtyards and gardens in cloisters and abbeys, detaching the mystical concept from liturgical aspects and avoiding being centered in the use of incense, to represent the most human and material side of this environment fully charged with spirituality

"The Book of Hours suite was envisioned in that regard by one designer who has been dabbling in history and other activities peripheral to the world of fashion design, Ricardo Ramos, who composed three perfumes by taking references and inspiration from the medieval Paleography studies “Digging Deeper” carried out with the University of Stanford / USA"
